# Why does my Withings fetch return a failed dependency error?

A failed dependency / `502` on a Withings fetch means **Withings' API returned an error on Terra's request**, usually temporary downtime, revoked auth, or an account restriction.

Work through it in order:

In the Withings app, verify that access to Terra has not been revoked in connected-app settings.

Reconnect the Withings account through Terra to force a fresh OAuth flow.

If it persists after both, contact support, who can inspect what Withings is returning.
