# How do I stop a retried webhook overwriting newer data?

Terra does not currently expose an ordering or freshness guarantee for retried [webhook](https://docs.tryterra.co/health-and-fitness-api/managing-user-health-data/receiving-data-updates) deliveries, so a late retry can in principle overwrite newer data.

**To reconcile after downtime**, once your server is back online, [request a re-send (backfill)](https://docs.tryterra.co/health-and-fitness-api/managing-user-health-data/requesting-historical-data) of the past 1 to 2 days for the data types you use, so the latest data wins.
