Workarounds:

• Have users exempt the app via unrestricted battery use in Android settings.

• Periodic WorkManager-based syncs work but aren't guaranteed to run exactly on schedule.

Because Google pushed the Google Fit API deprecation to 2026, the existing Samsung-to-Google-Fit pathway keeps working in the meantime, so plan the migration but there's no forced cutover.
