# What does google\_no\_datasource mean?

The `google_no_datasource` warning means **Terra connected to the Google account but found no fitness data sources**. Common causes:

* The user authenticated with a Google account that isn't the one linked to Google Fit.
* Google Fit has no source (phone sensor, device, or app) syncing into it.
* Only profile/email scopes were granted, without the fitness permissions.

**Have the user reconnect**, confirm they pick the correct account, grant all requested permissions, and verify Google Fit itself shows data.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.tryterra.co/faq/help-topics/no-data/connected-but-no-data-arriving/google-fit-no-datasource.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.
