# How do I test realtime streaming without a wearable?

The data generator/simulator does not yet support realtime streaming simulation, it covers the Unified API and mobile SDK only.

To **test realtime integrations without a physical wearable**, use the phone's own sensors:

Start streaming with the phone connection type (Android or Apple) instead of BLE.

Request data types such as heart rate or steps.

Which data types are available depends on the phone's sensors.
