# How do I get weight data from MyFitnessPal?

MyFitnessPal does not provide a `body` payload, because weight data is not accessible through the MyFitnessPal API.

**To capture weight** (for example, from a smart scale), connect a provider that does expose body metrics, such as Apple Health, where the scale also syncs its data.
