# Can I get time-in-zones and strength detail for Garmin?

Garmin's Health API does not provide:

* HR or power **time-in-zones** (abstracted away on their side).
* Exercise-level **strength detail** (sets, reps, weight). Strength training comes through only as a summary with heart rate, calories, and duration.

Terra delivers raw heart rate values, from which you can compute heart rate zones yourself using the user's max heart rate.

On activity types: some subtypes (for example trail running) lack a dedicated type and map to the generic type (`running`), while special cases like treadmill running have their own type. Use the `metadata` name field to distinguish subtypes when the provider supplies a specific name. See the [data models reference](https://docs.tryterra.co/reference/health-and-fitness-api/data-models) for the full schema.
