# Why does InBody error that the API version is unsupported?

**A `required components unavailable on your version` error is often not a version problem at all, but an artifact of an expired authentication link.** Generated auth links expire after about **15 minutes**.

* **Retry the flow with a freshly generated link.**
* If it persists, share the exact failing request so version handling can be checked.
