# Why does Health Connect show grey but provider shows connected?

Terra **does not manage your app writing data into Health Connect**; that flow is handled by your own integration.

If a provider shows connected (green) but Health Connect shows grey/not-connected, **verify the data-writing setup on your side**. Terra only handles reading from the [sources it manages](https://docs.tryterra.co/health-and-fitness-api/mobile-only-sources/android-kotlin).
