# How do I move to production?

Once your subscription is active you can **begin authenticating users in your production environment straight away**. There is no separate gating step to start prod.

Billing runs through your existing plan. Reach out to your account contact to align on rollout timing and clear any outstanding invoices before scaling. For how environments differ, see [understanding Terra environments](https://docs.tryterra.co/health-and-fitness-api/integration-setup/understanding-terra-environments).
